1. Who can use Lebomo

1.1

You must be 18 or older. By signing up, you tell us that you are.

1.2

Some events serve alcohol. For those events you must also be of legal drinking age where the event takes place.

1.3

You must give us true information and be able to make a legal agreement with us.

1.4

You must follow our Community Guidelines and the law.

2. What Lebomo is

2.1

Lebomo is a platform run by Sunrise Tools and Bolts CC (we, us, our). We help small groups of about 6 people meet at weekly in-person activities in a city. These include dinner, drinks, runs, board games and book clubs.

2.2

Our first city is Dubai. Dinners are planned for every Wednesday at 7:30 pm at a restaurant. Times and places may change.

2.3

We use a short 5 question personality quiz to suggest groups. We try our best, but we cannot promise you will like everyone, or that you will become friends.

2.4

We do not run the restaurants, bars or venues. We only bring people together.

3. Free to join, and what you pay venues

3.1

It is free to join Lebomo and free to book an event. We do not charge you a fee. If this changes in future, we will tell you before it does.

3.2

At each event, you pay the venue directly for your own food and drink. That bill is between you and the venue.

3.3

Some venues have a deal with the Event Captain, for example a minimum spend. That deal is between the captain and the venue. We do not take part in it, and we do not collect, hold or process any of that money.

3.4

Any tip, service charge or tax is decided by the venue. Please check the venue's own rules.

4. Your account

4.1

You need an account to book. You can have one account only.

4.2

Keep your sign in details safe. You are responsible for what happens on your account.

4.3

Tell us quickly at legal@saurabhmaskara.com if you think someone else is using your account.

4.4

Please keep your details up to date, including your city.

5. Booking and cancelling

5.1

You book a seat by choosing an event in your city. We confirm your seat by email or in the app.

5.2

We tell your group the first names of everyone at the table one day before the event.

5.3

Please cancel as early as you can, so someone else can take your seat. You can cancel in the app or by writing to legal@saurabhmaskara.com. The latest time to cancel is 24 hours before the event starts.

5.4

We can cancel or move an event, for example if too few people book, or if the venue or the weather causes a problem. We will tell you as soon as we can.

5.5

Since you pay nothing to us, we do not give refunds. If you paid a venue for something, that is a matter between you and the venue.

6. No shows

6.1

A no show is when you book a seat and do not come, and do not cancel in time. It leaves an empty chair and lets down five other people.

6.2

If this happens, we may send you a reminder, pause your booking for a time, or in repeated cases close your account.

6.3

We understand that life happens. Emergencies are different, so please write to us and tell us what happened.

7. How you behave

7.1

Be kind, respectful and on time. Our Community Guidelines are part of these Terms.

7.2

You must not harass, threaten, pressure or discriminate against anyone. You must not use events to sell things, recruit people or push your cause.

7.3

You must not use Lebomo for anything illegal, or to copy our service, collect other people's data, or pretend to be someone else.

7.4

If you break these rules, we may warn you, remove you from an event, or close your account. See the Community Guidelines for how we handle this.

8. Event Captains and City Ambassadors

8.1

Event Captains are volunteers who host events. City Ambassadors are volunteers who lead Lebomo in their city.

8.2

They are independent community organisers. They are not our employees, partners or agents, and they cannot make promises on our behalf.

8.3

Captains and ambassadors are asked to follow our Community Guidelines. They are not trained security, medical or legal professionals.

8.4

If you have a problem with a captain or ambassador, tell us at legal@saurabhmaskara.com. We will look into it.

9. Venues and alcohol

9.1

Venues are separate businesses. We do not own or control them, and we do not check their food, drink, safety or service.

9.2

Alcohol is never required. You can always choose a soft drink. Please drink responsibly and know your limit.

9.3

The venue's rules and local laws on alcohol apply. A venue may refuse to serve you, and we cannot change that.

9.4

Please tell the venue about allergies yourself. We may pass on dietary needs you gave us, but we cannot promise the venue can meet them.

10. Safety and your own responsibility

10.1

You are meeting people you have not met before. We encourage you to be sensible. Tell a friend where you are going, and look after your own belongings.

10.2

Getting to and from the event is your own responsibility. You decide what to share about yourself and when to leave.

10.3

We do not run background checks on guests, captains or ambassadors. We cannot promise what anyone will say or do.

10.4

If you ever feel unsafe, leave and get help. In an emergency call your local emergency number first. Then tell us at legal@saurabhmaskara.com.

11. Content and photos

11.1

What you write on Lebomo, such as feedback, ratings or reports, stays yours. You give us a right to use it to run and improve our service.

11.2

You must not post anything unlawful, hateful or false, or anything that belongs to someone else.

11.3

Please do not take photos or video of people at an event without asking them first. Do not share what others tell you in private.

11.4

We may use photos only if the people in them agreed.

12. Limits of our liability

12.1

We provide Lebomo as it is. We try to keep it running well, but we do not promise it will always work or be free of errors.

12.2

We are not responsible for what guests, captains, ambassadors or venues say or do, or for things that happen at or on the way to an event.

12.3

To the most that the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses or loss of profit. Our total responsibility to you is limited to USD 100.

12.4

Nothing in these Terms limits anything that the law does not allow us to limit, such as responsibility for death or injury caused by our own fault, or for fraud.

13. Ending your account

13.1

You can close your account at any time in the app or by writing to legal@saurabhmaskara.com. Please cancel any events you have booked first.

13.2

We can pause or close your account if you break these Terms or the Community Guidelines, or if it is needed to keep others safe. Where we can, we will tell you why.

13.3

What happens to your personal information after closing is explained in our Privacy Policy.

14. Changes, governing law and contact

14.1

We may change these Terms. We will update the date above, and we will tell you of important changes before they start. If you keep using Lebomo after that, you accept the new Terms.

14.2

These Terms are governed by the law of South Africa. Disputes go to the courts of South Africa, unless your local consumer law says otherwise.

14.3

If one part of these Terms is found not to work, the rest still stands.
